Lots of black folk I know cannot dance, and lots of white folk I know can keep rhythm good. Some people stay in their dance genres and struggle with others. It’s all good. For a beginner who has NEVER worked out. I had a great time doing this. I know it’s only because I LOVE dancing so this was more my speed.
I work out all the time for dance. I’m 12, and I’ve been dancing my whole life.
I fell out because i was so tired in the beginning but as soon as i heard twerk i jumped up so fast & got back into it ππ

anna always makes me feel so much more comfortable on these fast dance workouts because i’m not really much of a dancer, but watching anna be like me motivates me to keep going!
I can see how people would get frustrated since she’s pretty quick but anyone who has danced especially competitively or had a choreographer would understand her approach. Great workout, loved every minute!

FYI THESE STEPS HAVE BEEN DONE IN FOLKS BACKYARD AND LIVING ROOMS FOR YEARS. AGAIN I SAY, IT WOULD HELP IF WE KNEW WHAT SHE JUMPING TO NEXT. EVEN CHOREOGRAPHERS COUNT YOU OFF.

Such an awesome workout!!! Please don’t be afraid to try it! I’m a big girl 5’3 weight 237 and I got through the whole thing! Took a few breaks but didn’t give up because the workout is pretty fun!! I played music in the back my self (Artist- maluma). SUCH A FUN WORKOUT!!!!

5 mins into this and i feel like i ran the olympics
*Just some tips.* Before the dance she says count of four so counting in your mind is really helpful. Also when she speeds up a move and you can’t then don’t. Move at a speed comfortable to you yet also on beat. Another is listen for when the guy announces modifications because they’ll help you. Next thing is she does call the move how ever it’s like a second beforehand so after a four count listen for a change in pattern. Also during the dance partially remember the sequence so you can already know what’s coming up when it repeats. Also try to do the workout on multiple days and not just a one day thing. Have fun because enjoying the exercise is what makes a good dancer a great dancer. Also if you’re on a PC you can slow down the video.
Love the attitude and encouragement. At 58, I was able to do the full workout with modifications! Enjoyed the heck out of this.
